About Studio Waebe

Pronounced “maybe” with a W (inspired by the Swiss Wabe, meaning “woven structure”), Wæbe reflects not only the art of crafting successful collaborations, but the deeper, often unseen work of weaving relationships, systems, and pathways to possibilities. Studio Waebe is founded by Tessa Bloembergen, a designer of relational sensemaking experiences - playful, immersive, and deeply human.

After being trained as an architect at TU Delft, I realized buildings were too literal for me. I wanted to design and facilitate how people collaborate: how they see themselves and each other, how they can move through spaces, ideas, innovate and change together.

My journey took me from the rigid structures of academia to the fluidity of co-creation, from being a builder/maker to a teambuilding facilitator to an interim director; from burnout in the city to a life designed around entrepreneurship and nature; from being a walking brain to an embodied (un)learning enthusiast; and from perfectionism to a practice rooted in creative curiosity and radical responsibility.

Studio Waebe reflects not only the weaving way I work, but also my Swiss-Dutch roots, a part-time off-grid life in the Spanish mountains, and the creative pulses of life in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

I'm curious to meet you!

About Tessa Bloembergen

The purpose of my life is to use my creative curiosity and playful ingenuity to support people to...

  • clarify and learn to make sense of complexity;

  • catalyse trust and effective collaboration;

  • harness the power of radical responsibility;

  • learn together through engaging and fun experiences.

Whether it’s a serious game, an immersive installation, or a learning program, my goal is the same: to help people feel, understand,
and act in ways that are regenerative for both themselves and the systems they’re part of.
